I love working with iridescent glass.   During the final process of creating the sheets of glass a coating of iridescence is added.  This gives glass a matt feel but a shimmer of colour as the light catches the glass.
 
This piece I used some rainbow irid clear glass and fully fused two sheets of glass over some fibre dots to create the depth and texture.
 
The final firing is to fuse it into a mould to create the gentle dip.
 
Perhaps a cheese plate?
