6mm strips of glass (white opal, petal pink opal, clear and aqua tint) positioned on their edge and fully fused.   
 
The heart embellishment was created 'freeze and fuse' using Bullseye glass powders and then tack fused to to the base strip glass. 
 
One final firing to slump the piece into this wonderful shape.
