Adore this deep amethyst transparent glass that I used between petal pink opal strips in this 20cm x 10cm dish.
 
32 pieces of Bullseye glass cut into 1/4inch width strips.  Fully fused on their edges snuggled between kiln bricks to keep the shape and depth of this piece.  
 
A final slump firing in the kiln to create this wonderful dish shape perfect for a multitude of uses - dressing table, hall table or dining table.
