Measuring just over 20cm square, this piece was made in several stages.
 
First stage is creating the small corner pieces by fusing stringers (strings of glass with 2mm diameter) lying closely together on a clear 3mm thick piece of glass.  They're fired the first time and once cool, I score and cut the fused piece into small triangles.
 
Jigsaw time whilst I piece together the small triangles to create each of the corner squares.  
 
The final stages are to ensure that the magic 6mm rule is adhered to by cutting 20cm x 20cm square piece of clear glass and cutting some clear glass to fit snugly between the jigsaw corners and back in to the kiln for the final firing.
