These pieces remind me of jigsaw puzzles. They start with 2mm diameter glass stringers fused onto a piece of clear glass.
 
A great deal of measuring scoring and breaking into triangles. Then the jigsaw begins whilst I puzzle to put the pieces together and fire once more in the kiln.
 
Final firing is to slump into the dish shape.
