This dish challenged me with various different techniques and using a variety of studio equipment.
 
First I created blocks of glass with layers of aquamarine and clear glass.  Once cooled, I used a saw to cut slices of the block which gave me the lines in this piece and also the depth.  Placed snugly into a pattern and fired once more.   One final firing to slump it into this delicately sloped dish before the final treatment of sandblasting the surfaces to create this wonderful matt finish.
