I created this glass bridge by creating a thin layer of purple lacy glass which was then overlaid on plain glass and fully fused.  I love how this creates a beautiful shadow showing the purple lace below.  
 
The arched, slumped, final piece has a dip on it, which works well as a candle holder or perhaps on a dressing table.
